Qualifications

At Bear Home Inspections, I combine analytical expertise, hands-on experience, and professional training to give clients the confidence they need in their home purchase.

I earned a degree in Economics from Stanford University, where I learned how to analyze complex information, identify patterns, and pay attention to details that others might overlook. Those same skills are essential in home inspections — spotting issues, understanding their impact, and explaining them clearly to clients.

I also competed as a Pac-10 athlete, an experience that taught me discipline, persistence, and preparation — qualities I bring into every inspection.

Before becoming a certified home inspector, I spent 8 years at Home Depot, gaining valuable knowledge of building materials, home systems, and common homeowner concerns. Combined with my inspection certification and continuing education, this background gives me a unique perspective on how homes are built and where potential problems may arise.
